What will I fly?

As I discussed in my previous post, I will be building a radio-controlled airplane. I have decided to build it out of a foam, as it is light weight and durable.

I have purchased all necessary materials and will begin construction soon. To design the plane and wings I have taken to the study of aerodynamics. The wings will be built with Bernoulli's Principle in mind to give it proper lift.

This intensive studying and planning will hopefully be worth it as I set off my flight. All my preparation is now complete and ready to take off.

How will I fly?

After researching flight and aerodynamics, I have decided to design and construct an airplane. But do to budget limits and time, I will construct my own radio-controlled airplane. I will have to purchase a radio system, servos, and transistors. I will design it similar to a Cessna, but a much smaller scale.

I will begin construction soon and do multiple flight tests, to make sure it is able to fly. I am debating on what materials I should use, as wood is too heavy, but sheet metal is too susceptible to damage and overheating. I could even make it out of a much lighter foam, so it won't be damaged as easily. Until then, I will be working on plans and designs for my new aircraft.

How do we fly?

We have moved. We have moved from land and to the sea. We have moved from land, and to the sea, to the skies and space, our final frontier. How do we fly? How have we gone from these places and built balloons, to gliding, and to full-on airplanes?

What is flying? Flying is moving through the air. Flying is moving through new places, to discover new places. Flying is our movement to the sky. Flying has evolved us as a people.

How did we come to flying? Why did we resort to the sky? Rather than continuing to sail, we have changed our mentality. We have realized and discovered more efficient ways to move and travel. Flying has evolved us as a people.

What is flying? Flying is finding new ways around a common problem.

What is flying? Flying is advancing through time as a people, together.

What is flying? Flying is working together.

What is flying? Flying is evolution.

Let us fly. Let us fly, together.
